When it's been hot my boot seems to be popping open, only way I can stop it is to lock the doors from the internal switch, seems when I open the passanger front door it opens the boot

Can anyone shed any light on this please

Had this on the missus's A3 , driving along minding your own business and boosh the boot would open. I replaced the release mechanism actuator on the tail gate (one that Central locking actuates to open the boot when button pressed) and it sorted. £10 from the scrappies and 30 min job tops.
