Solar roof stopped working

Had a problem with the roof mechanism.  This was fixed and solar roof was working when sun shone.  Had a passenger airbag warning light issue when I replaced the aircon fan and had that sorted.  As we hadn't had much sun didn't expect it to work. Now we've had sun the fan isn't running when parked up.  Spoke to guys who did sunroof mechanism and said they only disconnected the single plug and socket.  So it may have happened when the airbag warning was reset.  The sparky said there was a problem with the airbag on/off switch in the glovebox and a dodgy wire behind the dash. I will have a word with him but this seems an isolated problem as can find no mention of problems in the forums.   Apologies if I'm missing a related topic.
