Hi everyone,

Have been lurking a while, but now finally signed up.

In January I got my long awaited Octavia III Estate 2.0 TDI Elegance delivered. It was orderes back in July 2013, and wasn't promised delivered until late February, but just before Christmas the dealer informed me that the car would be ready to be picked up 6th January. I have been doing about 8000 km in it now and I am very pleased with it.

My previous car war a Seat Leon Mk1 1,9 TDI-90 Stella year 2000 I bought second hand back in 2003. It has been doing a little over 450,000 km without any major problems and my wife continues to drive it. I hope the Octavia will be equally reliable as I am planning to keep it for a long time too.

My Octavia is my first Skoda and the first car I own from new. It is a Danish specs Elegance, with a few extras, such as a so-called "Elegance-package" consisting of Bolero/Canton, driver fatigue alarm, lane assist and parking sensors in front as an addition to the standard sensors in the rear. On top of that a panoramic Roof, privacy glass, front assist, folding mirrors, black cornering fog lights, 4-spoke leather steering wheel with phone/radio/driving data controls + some minor details too. Color is denim blue with ivory interior. So far I haven't seen many denim blue estates neither many cars with ivory interior, so I suspect it is one of the rarer combinations.
