There are good cars out there though! I can imagine it does sound rather drastic, but car Forums do bring out the worse.

  • I debated buying an older 2ltr turbo also Renaultsport megane r26, Vauxhall astra vxr, focus St etc etc but this car seems to be the right car to get at this moment in time only £140 a year tax, impre

  • I wouldn't touch a used CAVE with a barge-pole if it didn't have a decent amount if warranty. The CTHE seems to he much more resistant to the oil issues but I'm not sure if you will get a decent one

How about a Sweepie on it,  ??  If someone could start a thread.

£2 each to charity per guess.

I bags a max 188 BHP from a Standard vRS 1.4 TSI CTHE using 99 ron Tesco Momentum,

 on 205/40 r 17's

I just made 187 on cthe engine that was with bp ultimate 97ron. I was happy with that. I think on another day with vpower i could gey 190. But depends how accurate the rollers are too.

I run everything I have that runs on petrol on super unleaded.

Both cars, the bike and even my chainsaw.

Use regular supermarket diesel in the van though.

In my mind its about the same price as diesel so sod it why not?
