I'm looking for a car to take on a long cruise through europe. I've taken BMW 7's and 5's before, but this caught my eye. I would have it as a second car at home. i use a new fiat 500 as my main car, but always have something larger for longer drives. Any thoughts?

Road tax about the same as a 730 I'm also looking at. Fuel econ about the same.

It's not as reliable as the BMW if that is what you mean.

I would only contemplate a European road trip in a diesel car...apart from that ...A nice comfortable car..bur thirsty

Having owned a 740i and a Superb MK1 I think you'd be disappointed with the Superb. I sold my 740i for £800 and it wasn't in bad condition. I'd look for one of those
