Hey all. Im getting abit confused so wondered if anyone can help. Basically im going to run a s2000 cone filter. My mate has measured the filter neck from off his honda s2k and its 78mm internal bore and 88mm external bore. Iv measured my maf and im getting about 68mm. Does that sound right? So I will need a reducer and a pipe to connect the reducer to the filter. What size reducer do I get and what size pipe?do i get dead size or go a few mm bigger?

E.G 70mm to 78mm reducer and a 76mm pipe?

Or is there a much simpler way of doing it?

"I think the S2K filter has a large neck that is around 85mm dia. The VRS MAF is around 64mm dia. So you would need a silicon reducer to fit to the MAF".

 

I don't think you need a pipe , you just need a reducer around 65mm to 90mm to go over MAF and over S2k filter neck.

 

These filter seem very popular coz they are cheap and seem to work ok, But they look way to big and clumsy imo sitting in the engine bay. Plus the colurs are a bit loud...

Yh I have asked it but thought id get more answer specifically asking for this bit. Was after info from someone who has done it. Iv got sum 3" pipe now
