Strange Air noise from engine bay

Had a recent run of bad luck on my 59plate 1.9pd Octavia, 3 weeks ago my turbo went and filled engine and exhaust with oil, had new turbo fitted then 8 days later clutch went so had new one fitted plus DMF, noticed now when I turn key to start it I hear a sucking// blowing of air , it's only aa quick chuff then goes when engine started, I can't be certain but think its around egr valve area, I have checked all pipes they appear to be on securely and visually checked for any cracks, but can't appear to see anything noticeable, also if I rev it over 3000rpm I hear a kind of dry bearing noise, took car back to garage but they couldn't put their finger on the problem and I've advised to let it develop, just wondered if anyone has had any similar issues.
