As per the custom in these here parts (or so I'm informed), thought I'd start of by introducing myself.......I feel like I'm at an addicts meeting, but here goes.....

Hi everyone - My name is Zac and I'm a Skoda virgin.  Hoping to lose my metaphorical cherry soon but that's a story best saved for another thread.

 

I'm currently driving a 2005 Honda Civic (MkVII - that's the cool older style, GTi type body - not the sherbert flying saucer type!) 1.6 vtec Sport......stop snigg**ing at the back please!  Have to say, it's a great little car with loads of rev heavy oomph for a 1.6, sticks to the road like glue and is just all round very fun drive.  Definitely not the beast that the Type-R's are, but then also a fraction of the cost to buy/run and with the more toned down aesthetics - understated is definitely sweeter than overstated in my book!  That said, very much hoping to lay my hands on Octavia vRS in the next 2 months, so anyone looking to sell theirs, please check my post to follow vey shortly in the For Sale thread.....except will be marked as 'Wanted'.......assuming that doesn't breach forum rules or unless I've missed a specific 'Wanted' thread somewhere?!

Yeah, thanks - funnily enough, it was finding your For Sale thread through Google that bought me to this site! I was reading each post tentatively, thinking "please don't say SOLD, please don't say SOLD"......the last 3 posts made me weep a tear! Did look like a lovely motor too. Oh well, hopefully something else will turn up soon. Mind you, really need to get the Civic sold before I can do anything sensible!
