Need to get a touch-up pen or similar for the VRS Octy, nowhere near me stocks the Skoda colour range, apart from one place that only has blues and silver for some reason, I need the Rally Red colour, does anyone know if there is a VW/Audi equivalent colour that matches it exactly? Search threads on the subject but didn't spot anything...

Nearest Dealer is 40 miles away, don't really fancy driving all that way just for a touch-up pen, would that be the same part number across the VAG range, or just for Skoda?

No if they have a colour that will match this should be the same part number.

Call a near dealer and they should be able to help you

So I could give that part no. to my local VW garage and they would know what I was on about? Halfords have a range of red VW touch-up pens but the part numbers on them are different to the Skoda number you gave me , they also mix up colours while you wait but not sure I would trust them to get an exact match...

No I havent heard any good of hafords mix up paint.

Could you not get a Skoda dealer to post them out.

I used to do that for many people at the dealer.

You could try Butts Of Bawtry they post out and have them in stock.

Save you going to anyone then just wait for the post man to drop it at your door?

But yes another dealer should recognise it.

Thanks for your help Sarah , will ring around and see what they say. I doubt if my local dealer would be willing to, and would not rely on them posting it out without me having to constantly ring and ask them where its got to.

I have delt with Butts Of Bawtry for a while and I have found them to be very good.
