subaru impreza blobeye seats

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had fitted the Subaru Impreza blobeye seats into their Octavia?

If so, what did you have to adjust?

Thanks.

If you can weld not a problem you'll need to remove the runners and swap over will require a fair bit of fabrication I would think.

What about the rear seats? is it something i could adjust and fit in ? or not possible?

I did Golf and Octavia into Fabia conversions.

In my mind it's a load easier to make the foam and material from the wanted seats fit the metal work from your existing car.

You know that that all bolts together and won't need extensive modification or welding or new metal work to get it to fit.

The Golf/Octavia to Fabia swaps were relatively easy.

The runners for the front seats were different so swap the material and foam from one to the other and then bolt the back rest on (luckily they were the same size/width/style being within the VAG group - might be a different story working with Impreza bits!)

The rears the bases were again a case of swapping material and foam to different metal work.

The rears back rests were the same in principal but being from a car on a larger platform they needed trimming down to size and resewing to fit the Fabia metalwork properly.

I'd imagine that it'd be possible, but could well be a fair chunk of work but without taking the seats apart you won't really know

Am only in Gloucester so more than happy to help you take a look if you have all the bits
