Is it possibleto do a dsg reset/learning mode using the accel pedal? Ive read.some threads which are old now but one details foot to floor with ign and engine off for 20 secs and the other details foot to the floor with ign on but engine off for 15 seconds.

Has anyone done this and does it work.

Cheers ive heard that one also but there are a number of threads regarding doing something with the throttle.

I believe pushing the accelerator down and pushing kickdown button in for 20 sec with ignition on. Dsg doesn't take long to learn

Does this actually work or is there potential to screw the box up?

I think its always learning, mines hates when i become calmer often pre-empting acceleration and I have to reign it in 

Wife always complains after I've been in!  Monday morning she pull's out at a junction & it thinks it's me  . But it soon learns  Miss Daisy is driving again.
