When connecting my phone to the cars bluetooth it's not uploading all of my contacts just a small number of them any idea it's samsung galaxy note 2 also tried it with my wife's s4 still does the same??

Are the contacts on the phone or sim card? Also do they contain any thing other than letters in the name?

Well I've just exported them to the sim now but only now put 5 contacts in no they all contain letters

Try them all on the phone. Do you have them in groups or just a list?

Yes. It only shows contacts that contain letters and their phone numbers
