Hi everyone

Ive been having problems with the central locking on my car

Both fobs have the red light blinking when they are pressed

Both keys lock and unlock the car via the drivers door manually

But when pressing for remote locking/unlocking nothing happens

Tried new batteries/ tried the programming trick with one in the ignition and one in the lock/ even tried giving the door a good thump where the unit is ( apparently sometimes sorts it)

Any ideas where to start on this or what it could be?

Might need programming via vcds. It could of had a replacement ccu so the keys dont match the ccu.

I dont know bud cos its been working for the past couple months since i bought the car then one morning nothing happened with the remote cl then worked for one time with the remote then later the same day nothing again ,

All locks are opening manually so thts what im living with at the moment

Id go with water damage to the wires inside the door. Mine was knackered and had to replace the wire. Mine was to do with interior lights and wing mirrors but id guess there is wires down there for it to. Worth a check.
