help i cant get the interior lights to work :(

any ideas why the lights wont work both the front and back lights wont come on at all ???? :( 

 

Have you checked the fuse?

Yer I think I should check the fuse lol I've only had the car 2 days any idea where they are and which one the interior lighting fuse is?

At the drivers side end of the dash (with the door open) there is a panel, which you prise off and you will see the fuses. The layout of the fuses on the piece of card attached inside the fuse panel cover and the layout in the handbook are a mirror image of what you see because it shows a left hand drive car with the panel at the opposite end of the dash.

as above fuse No 15,    7.5 amps.

hi again i checked the fuse and it was fine and i got a m8 to use his vag-com thingy on the car and is said it has a open circuit fault shall i take it to a skoda dealer as it still has warranty until january ?   

Seems like a good idea to me? if you mess about they might try to blame you ;)
