Afternoon all,looking for a few pointers/suggestions.The time has come to say goodbye to the standard exhaust on my vrs so I'm after a turbo-back exhaust system with a sports cat so it'll go through an mot (done the decat and change thing on previous cars and can't be arsed anymore) that's not going to bankrupt me.Seen Piper setups with 200 cats for around the £700 mark which I thought wasn't too bad.Any suggestions greatly appreciated

And no, it isn't £2180 but rater a more resonable £218.

 

I myself am going with this eBay DP along with a PIPER cat-back system with 4" slash cut since it's the best priced DP I can find with a fitted sports cat. The PIPER system I've only heard good things about.

 

Done some calculations on eBay UK/DE and the cheapest decent eBay DP + separate 200 cell cat to weld on would land you around £90 + £100 + welding labour cost.

 

Otherwise if you like a complete turbo-back I would go for the Piper full system. Good prices here with low-price guarantee:

All in all the eBay DP + piper catback setup would land at around £550 - a fair bit of saving over the full Piper/Milltec/Jetex system.

The sellers of those downpipes put them on auction for time to time and they normally sell for around 100-120 pounds

When I used to have a mk2 Leon cupra I had a bcs full exhaust and 200 cel cat fitted, best exhaust ever ( in my opinion ) not to loud no droning and the attention to detail was amazing, I highly recommend them, btw it was a full 3 inch system.

I've just fitted a miltek de cat and non resonated cat back well happy with it an sounds nice not to loud wasn't to pricey either think it was about £570 delivered can't wait for the remap now :-) fitting was nice too I fitted all new exhaust mounts think they was an extra £25 there's 4 in total
