Can anyone assist with location of this sensor

I believe there is one either end of the DPF, which is the large canister after the turbo charger.

Ok excellent how can i tell which one is at fault ???

You will need to scan for faults and it'll say which is at fault. What makes you think it's the DPF temp sensor at fault?

There is a temp sensor in the turbo manifold and one in the top of the DPF and one at the end of the DPF

on these 1.6 tdi the one that fails is the one at the end of the DPF and it's connector is located down near the down pipe and routes over the top of the heat shield for the down pipe think it's a orange plug?
