My 2011 VRS TDI requires new pads at 47K, does any one have any recommendations for fast road use or am i better keeping to the standard pads?

 

my other car is a track car so normally upgrade for better pads but maybe that's overkill on this?

 

who would you recommend ordering them from and would you do the discs at the same time?

I've always found pagid pads to be excellent, I only change the discs when they won't see out another set of pads (unless warped etc).

Managed to get 160,000 out of my original discs lol

If you are happy with standard pads just stick with something like pagid as they would be cheaper than a fast road pads. If you are after a fast road pad you could try ebc red stuff.

I recently fitted pagid 312mm discs and ebc redstuff pads.

Very good set up for the road.

Leagues ahead of the OE stuff.
