Hi all thinking about changing my clutch and flywheel as the box is coming off. 1st off can anyone tell me the pros and cons to smf. Iv seen this on ebay is it worth getting?

Another question is what bolts do I need to replace the rivets inside the gearbox. Is there a kit for that I can buy?

Just yesterday I was told to stay well away from techniclutch. Apparently their clutches are s#/t!

Brought a clutch from them genuine sachs kit and I can't fault it bolts everything nice easy job

Visit DarksideDevelopments or whatever they are called. You can get an uprated VR6 clutch with a single mass flywheel coversion for good money. Think they are listed in the traders section.

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I recently followed Audi Q7 with matrix leds and his headlights gave massiv

Hi .As the title really,no air comes through the face vents despite trying a recalibration several times. Is this something an interactive ( right description?) code reader can check? If the flap actuator has failed I shudder to think how inaccessible that might be! Thanks.

looking to see if i can get suggestions on how to "activate" by retrofitted SLA headlights. essentially i'm getting an "cornering light (AFS)" error, meaning the high beam fancy masking/patterns (rollers) aren't working, let alone the shutters (HBA on/off). vcds autoscans show 2 faults in module 4B, saying the controllers are "Not coded". it looks like we need to upload (via ODIS/VCP) some parameters to the 4B module, telling it's now got SLA and how to use it. not sur

The traffic sign recognition error warning light came on when ignition turned on. Car went into dealers for diagnosis. They had to contact Skoda Technical Services for advice. No fix , suggested new camera may be required and the new camera to be calibrated. Horrendous estimate , circa !500 GBP plus the calibration cost by ADAS specialist.
