I have only ever bought oil from Halfords in a dire emergency.

 

Asda do good deals every so often.  Not actually looked on Amazon for it before, good spot.

And Asda, Tesco, etc vw 502 00 or vw 504 00 when the correct spec. Or 505, 507 just as good. Because it obviously is manufactured by an oil company. Not an own brand baked bean company. Comma fully synthetic of the correct grade as well. Proper oil.

Mine comes from a friend who's wife works at a car parts place, 5 litre fully sync and oil filter Fabia VRS £20.33 always give him extra for a drink.

Just picked up my on line purchase, from my local Wilko for £9.25 -bargain compared to rip-off merchant!

I always go with Amazon - get 2 at a time (I change mine every 4-5 months) and free delivery (saves me a drive too).

 

This for Castrol - I'd be interested to hear if there are any cheaper (but not rubbish) options on oil - doesn't seem to be a wide selection...

I get mine from my mates garage, 4l for nothing :-) Reminds me I need to pick up some more, I'm going to have to start buying it ones he leaves lol.

I posted this earlier this evening. 1 litre Castrol Edge FST 5W-30 from Halfords is priced at £19.99. Local Skoda dealer priced at £13+. Local Tesco filling station.........£8 and a few pence. I just thought you'd all like to know!
