I do prefer the older models rob tbh, miss my vr6 and have been pining ever since but needed a cheap daily workhorse and this kinda fitted that bill lol.

It'll be a fun journey that's for sure keechy, especially if tonight's antics are anything to go by!

Fettled the rear arches a bit more and tidied them up. Tried the plastic arches back on temporally.

Is it lowered to begin with? Looks pretty low on the above pictures.

Badly chopped springs by the previous owner dude. It is still on stands at the front to as I need some 10mm spacers before the front wheels can go back on without catching the calipers.

Adding bits to the to do list too!

Rear arches sorted and both arch plastics back on properly

Rear number plate re stuck

Couple of holes in the top of the sills Fibreglassed & painted

Universal 5mm spacers (sh1te) modified to fit. Needs 10mm ideally.

Overspray (from being in his spray shed) removed from the windows

Front arb undone ready for removal tomorrow

More things to do:

O/s cv boot

Bit of welding in a couple of places

Under seal rear arches

Locate and fit front arb & poly bushes

Front discs & pads

All to be done on a tight budget to keep costs at a minimum!

Not even the rained stopped play today!

Got the wheels on, as you can see this is how wonky it's sitting (top pic) due to the bad suspension!

Noticed it needs a rad now too!

After digging deeper I found it wanted welding on the floor, 2 new sills & 2 wings!

By the time is done all the things it needed I could've got a tidy vr so quit while I was ahead.

Went back to the guy I got it off. Not sure what he'll do with it tbh, he may just break it unless he's planning on sinking some money into it.
