Adding an AUX in to a Fabia Symphony?

Is this remotely doable? I thought I could mount a stereo mini-jack in the plastic bit next to the HU - where the cup holder is if you have one.

Is there any way of hooking this sort of thing in on the back of the HU, and then selecting it on any of the myriad of mislabelled buttons on the front?

http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/auxin.asp would be what you'd need - it uses the CD changer connector on the back of the head unit.

Otherwise I'll just buy a new HU with a front panel AUX in...

Nope; they emailed back and said it won't work. :(

I think I'll get one of those H&B CA-5555s - front panel USB in, SD slot, MP3 CD-RW support and two back panel AUX inputs, one of which I could connect to a minijack socket mounted on the fascia panel. Then it could all be put back to stock pretty easily.
