1.2Tsi Turbo (Help)

Featured Replies

Hey guys..

anyone know where the breather pipe is on the 1.2 tsi turbo? Im fitting a boost gauge but not sure what pipe the breather is for it to go on?

Doesn't a boost gauge need fitting to the inlet manifold somewhere? (In between turbo and head).

I would have thought the breather by nature is not part of the pressurised system...but I'm not sure exactly which part you are referring to.

As Above, The boost Gauge needs to be plumbed into the intake (After the Turbo) at some point to assertain the pressure inside, sholud be able to find an accessable point somewhere.

I just use torque. Easier lol. Also note that link is for the twincharged engine. Not yours but thats the kind of thing you need. That one may fit but I have no idea.

LOL As above, I run Dashcommand which also gives you Boost Pressure, as well as a load of other interesting info plus you can read and clear any fault codes that may crop up, Total cost for the OBD2 reader and the App was about £20
