Bolero unit and coding?

Featured Replies

Silly question this but....

I've now bought a 2012 Octavia vrs that has bolero but no Bluetooth. I looked around for a different unit but don't see the point so will be buying a Bluetooth unit and fitting it myself. The bit I don't know anything about is the coding I keep seeing mentioned, can anybody help?!

I pick the car up next week and ideally want to buy the Bluetooth kit this week in preparation.

BT kits can be bought from CarSystems.pl or Cars Equipment, both very helpful.

Fitting is fairly straight forward with a few trim bits to remove.

VCDS coding is straightforward as well. Have a look at the owners map on this forum for your nearest member with VCDS. If no joy, I'll be heading past your area on Sunday 31st August late afternoon / early evening and can code it for you.

I need to see a Brskodian in Warrington and another near Manchester so cold combine a trip to all.

Wow thanks for the offer! I'm actually at the Moto gp at the weekend so can't meet but I'll look at that map!

Looks about right.

Check compatibity of your phone with the module and that you Columbus meets the minimum requirements (HW & SW).
