Car radios

Featured Replies

Whilst helping clear out our garage I found 2 car radios, one was from my first (previous) car, a Citroen c2 and the other from my brothers first and previous car, a vauxhall corsa. Both had been taken out and fitted with Sony headunits instead. Looking on eBay they seem to be worth enough to warrant selling them, but I'm unsure of a couple of things,

1) is it possible to sell them, or would they only work in the previous cars?

2) do you need some sort of code to get them working, and if so, is it possible to get one to give to the buyer?

Thanks for your time,

Mike.

Why ask here? Try C2 or Corsasport etc forums maybe. If you have a 12V supply and some cables, could try rigging them to test.

Because I just thought it was a general question regarding car radios? Didn't think it made much difference what cars they were from really, thought there might be a generic answer as to whether you could swap radios into different cars or something. Just in case they're coded to each individual car or something.

But thanks, I'll see if I can do that.
