Featured Replies

I have being looking on buying a fabia Vrs and tuneing it up to round 180 bhp but not sure on how hard this is to do and make it Handel better but I also like the look of a mark 6 Ford Fiesta St 150 bhp one but I was gonna tune that up to 180 bhp but witch one is better in your own opinion but I want it to be a fun and also good handeling car thanks if you can help

Fabia.

Its a Skoda forum, what other answer were you expecting?

Seriously though, Fabia.

The fiesta is heavy and being n/a tuned will cost a lot to achieve 180bhp.

My mate Rob had his blt engined Fabia Vrs dyno'd at 179.9 with a stage 1 map this weekend

I'd imagine the fiesta would be better handling out of the box, but if your plan was to change the suspension anyway, then the Fabia would be the better choice

The Fiesta ST is near 200 kg less Kerb Weight than the Dirty Diesel is it not?

& then there is the thing that it handles better before you start modifying.

I would spend the money on some spelling lessons.

Connor, welcome to the forum.

Not everyone is worried about your spelling.

It is a Car Forum not some further eduction one.

EDIT, Education.   Doh, Slip on the keyboard.

Ahaha. I speak my own language. Saves my thumbs working too hard haha.

I've had both, two totally different cars. Fiesta is revvy, handles a million times better than the Fabia and I found it a hoot to drive. The Fabia is much better at munching miles, cruising on the motorway and comfort. Depends what you want from the car, the Fiesta is pretty easy to tune for a N/A, Exhaust, air filter and map and you're not all that far away from 180bhp. Yes it will cost a little more than a map for the Fabia (170bhp) but you'll be saving £££ on coilovers and rarb's that you'd need to throw at the Fabia to make it go round bends. On the flip side, if you're going up and down the motorway and want something cheap to run but still a laugh to chuck about then a Fabia fits the bill nicely. 2 Very different cars but both great in their own ways.
