I have noticed a few drips on the driveway recently. They have not been getting worse when the car is stood, however after driving it is leaving small deposits every time. The underside of the engine seems covered in oil.

 

Are there any common problems with oil leakage that I should be looking at, or just ignore as its 9 years old.

Had a small oil leak.It turn out to be coming from the oil filter and a new oil filter stopped it.

I wouldn't ignore it.

Oil filter is a good place to start as it will drip down the front of the engine and coat the underneath.
