Car picked up today 2011 1.8 TSI SE 4x4, great so far just a squealing rear wiper to get fixed.

 

Are auto lights a standard item on the SE?

 

MFD has a Rain Close option, does this mean car has rain sensor and intermittent wiper setting is rain sensitive?

 

Nice surprise is number of options fitted above 2011 SE spec not mentioned on the dealers details, so  far found the following:

Park Assist

Full size spare wheel

Carpet mats

Dimming rear view mirror

Variable boot floor

Tyre pressure monitor

I think auto lights are standard on the superb. My S spec one has them anyway.

Auto lights are but I don't think auto wipers are.

 

Whether you have auto wipers or not if you have the rain/light sensor (you will with auto lights) they can be enabled with VCDS.

 

I did this for another member on here.

If the wiper is juddering the wiper arm is probably slightly twisted, making the wiper catch in one direction - let the garage sort it if it's on warranty though.
