Hi folks changed the battery on my 2006 1.8t auto ( code awt) the other day nightmare of a simple job took two of us.When

I restated the car management light came on and car had bad thump going into 1st gear and running uneven,

got it on the diagnostic and came up MAF sensor changed MAF no difference so mechanic seems to think 

a damaged wire between MAF and ECU he can do a bypass but need Diagram can any body help.
