Getting the Alpine 9855R + ipod adapter, but where is the best place to fit the ipod adapter.

Will it fit in the little false unit under he glove box, or is it best to strap it somewhere behind the glove box, anyone done this themselves, any help appreciated...

mine is above the glove box loads of room there

take the glove box out 3 torx bolts glove box comes striaght out

then cut a small slit in the back of the glove box to pass the iPod connector through and it clips to the shelf thats for the manuals using the belt clip just fine

How did you get it to stay above the glove box, are there connectors or does it screw in or just sit there?

Also when you say it clips to the shelf for the manuals, do you mean the ipod lead, and is that the lower glove box compartment you ran it to?

i straped it up with a couple of cable ties

your ipod clips to the shelf
