Fabia2 1.4TDi Turbo not kicking in & windows not working

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and am having a couple of issues with my 2007 Fabia 2 1.4TDi:

I have the following fault codes which will not clear:

P3102 Motor for intake flap V157, no signal

P3101 Motor for intake flap V157, open or short to ground

P1549 Turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid (A) open or short to ground

P1441 EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve- N18 open or short to ground

I did also have P3007 Camshaft position sensor G40 no signal, but this one clears ok (although I think it comes back so I'm probably due a new Camshaft Sensor).

Can anyone shed any light on the above at all?

I'm also having a strange issue with the Electric windows - they both stopped working so I've removed the doorcard and checked for power at the switch and motor which seems fine.  I can get them to work if i disconnect the motor and then plug it in again but it only works for a few minutes (if that) and always stops working after I lock the car and then get in it again, so I have to disconnect the plug and re-connect again....  Any ideas?

Also if possible can someone post a pic of their fuses from the same vehicle - so I can just to a cross check please...

Many thanks

I look forward to any assistance...

My front windows at the moment aren't working, at the service they investigated and said it needs new control until which was around £80 quid. Its still in the warranty as I brought it from the main dealer so hopefully will get sorted. Might be the same problem in your case?

how old is the battery?

have a look around the engine bay at the wiring, I had several weird issues due to wiring failures (broken and worn through / shorted) on my mk 1 Octavia and my 07 roomster

the other thing to have a look at is the the wiring and pipework to the black vacuum block on the top of the drivers side inner wing
