That Dreaded MOT Time Again

Featured Replies

And,

She passed with flying colours. Just one advisory for N/S CV boot deteriorated, but able to hold grease and prevent dirt entering the joint.

Seems all the money ive spent on her this year has been worth it :)

Thats not too bad, and a nice little messy job for someone!!

Nice one, I like these stories, make me hopeful for January!

I had the same terrifying experience last month too......but also passed with flying colours!

Yeh shes not a bad old girl. For saying shes 12 years old with 157k on the clock.

Just shows, they will just keep going if looked after.

I never understand why everybody dreads MOTs. I like taking my car for an MOT as man MOT man is really nice and it's the only time I get to have a proper look underneath the car without crawling round on my back :D

Granted, its the potential expense I fear really, its all for a good cause though!

Mine was about to pass with flying colours too until the front spring snapped when they lowered it down off the lift :-(

For future reference to people, genuine vRS springs are nearly £100 each from TPS in Leeds.
