On every station that i have there is a slight fuzzing sound or a buzzing sound in the background (the sound the radio makes when it can't find a radio station). As i turn the volume up, the buzzing gets louder. There isn't this sound when i play music through my phone, only through the radio. What could it be? It never used to do it and the frequency is the same and on point and i also tried moving it around to see if it helps (like moving from 96.7 to 96.8 or 96.6) but there is still that fuzzing noise in the background.

It sounds like external interference of some sort - is it there all the time or only when the engine is running (or maybe with just the ignition switched on)?

I've only tried it with the car on but i don't see why it wouldn't make the noise when the car is off but i'll try, either way i want to fix it or find out what's causing it

My radio has a crackly noise when I listen to my iPod which is in my AUX port, and that only happens with the ignition on. And only through the AUX port, not the radio antenna or CD.

Mine does the same but with the radio, so frustrating

I sometimes get a slight interference when listening to radio 2 with the hids on.

Seems fine otherwise though.

The crackling stopped when i turned the hids off but i swear it was crackling today during the day when i was using them..hmm gunna have another test tomorrow

Its the interference the hids give off then?
