The 5th door cant be locked

Featured Replies

Hello to all memeber here and Merry Xmas to everybody!

I m new here  and as all of you i own Skoda Octavia 1 combi

its a really nice and strong car and i like it because of it .

but recently i found a problem with locking the doors .

when i put in the key in the driving door it locks only the 4 doors wothout the 5th

and when i put the key in the 5th door it locks the other 4 doors  and its locked too cause i ve done it manualy.

i put some oil spray into the key hole hoping that it ll get well and took out the cabels of the battery hoping that there will may be some mistake in the computer but its the same.

Any advices what else to do ?

Thank you very much !

best wishes to all

Sounds like a problem with the lock motor, they're not too expensive and are easy to replace.

Problem is fixed . There was a cut cable  up in the 5th  door.

Best regards !
