I'll check mate.

i did the same - so cut the plugs off and swapped them over, has been working fine for over a year.

Which plugs - the ones going to the pump, or the angle sensor?

Again I did the vRS rack conversion recently, but I made sure I got rack, subframe, ARB and the pas pump in one lot.  I left the rack hoses connected to the pump and it was fitted without even needing ti disconnect it.  I just had to hold the pump in the air whilst the subframe was loosely bolted up with the rack on, and then the pump followed into its spot.

The angle sensor. I no longer have access to the car that I got the rack from, so can't cut off the plug!

I have a spare pump, but the pump on the car is 2008 and my spare is 2004, and you can't go older apparently, onky newer.

The vRS uses a totally different sensor which is better quality than the older racks.  Gives more signals per second or something, which is another reason I wanted to upgrade as well as the fact my old rack was mysteriously letting in water behind the angle sensor and causing issues.

So what I really need is the cable that runs from the angle sensor to the pump from a Vrs, and then fit this rack.

I think so.  The cable/loom is different on the vRS one as it stays in the pump end, but disconnects at the sensor.  Unlike the old one where the sensor is attached to 4 feet of loom and needs routing to the pump every time its changed.

On mine, it seems fixed to the sensor, but I can disconnect it at the pump end.

Where as on the Vrs rack that I have, it has a removable loom female plug on the sensor.

That's exactly what I said above your post. :)   The old one the loom is attached to the sensor and you have to plumb it through to the pump.  The newer ones are plugged in on the sensor and the pump.  That piece of wiring is probably easily sourced from a breakers. :)

Great news is that that cake was on my other fab... So I got it this morning! Hehe

So this rack is no longer for sale as I'm going to fit it tomorrow

That is truly lucky on my behalf
