My clutch has just started to slip so getting it booked in asap

I just wondered if there are any other parts I need other than the ecs stage 1 clutch kit from awesome GTI?

I USED A LIGHTENED GOLF MK2 16V/G60 FLYWHEEL AND VR6 CLUTCH AS LOT CHEAPER

Cheers for the info I'll have to remember that in future if I still have the car lol

I put the ecs clutch in a few months back. After 4000 miles it's been faultless and amazingly soft and smooth. Softer than my dad's 2014 octavia clutch. Which size flywheel did you choose?

You get everything for the clutch itself in the kit, all bolts and the release bearing. The only part you could possibly need I guess is some new gearbox oil if you fancied changing that, easy with the gear box out.

I guess you could change the crank seal which is behind the flywheel, but it'll most likely be fine.

I thought the release bearing awesome gti supplied was a bit plastic compared to the standard all metal one. But hey ho.
