upgrade to Leather Interior.

Featured Replies

Hi all i am just about to fit a full leather interior to my 07 comfort. Is there any thing i should know before i fit it in. I know that i have to disconnect the battery before doing the front seats. But is there anything ells i should know ?.

Apart from the front seats being ff'ing heavy and making sure you have some spare door card plastic clips (as they have a tendancy to break when removing the original door cards) it's very straight forward.

As you've already stated disconnect the battery.  When doing the front seats move them as far backwards as they will go.  Remove the front securing nuts, then slide them fully forwards, remove the rear nuts then tilt backwards and disconnect all connectors (airbags, heated, electrics as applicable) then you can tilt and twist to get them out through the rear door.

Ok the front seats are in. But as the front mounts are different. I e. The bracket were the two bolts go are missing from the leather seats. And just to note as a knob head I am. I listen to a so call mate that said they will fit. My car no electric the leather electric.

All leather seats are to my knowledge electric, it’s easy enough to power them though...  if you haven’t already I will show you where I powered mine from.

Thanks mate but the fronts don't fit as the front bracket don't fit there is no screws to bolt them in. And the motor under the seat sits in the under flooring vent.

Are you sure they were out of a MKI Superb?

The from subframes are welded on to the seat frame, post a picture of what you have.
