what make of head unit if any would still operate my 6 disc changer??blaupunkt????

Definately not a Blaupunkt, without adaptor. When I got my Superb it had a Blaupunkt E1 Sat Nav and radio fitted - result no CD changer, no multidot radio info and the steering wheel controls didn't work. After much discussion the original hu was refitted and some cash changed hands - and everything now works.

After extensive checks there was nothing available that will make the multidot and steering controls work (if you have them) on the Superb. That despite several specialist suppliers websites saying they could do this but none were willing to guarantee it would work. However there may for other models.

The good news is that according to Skoda (not the dealer who was not interested cos i didn't buy the car from him) I could have used an adaptor - Part number ZGB705052906 -
