Superb HU - controls, line in?

Hi All,

Buying a superb soon and all the comfort spec ones have a head unit with tape, and an autochanger in the boot.

I'd rather have a single CD in the front - is it possible to change the head unit and keep the steering wheel controls active? Does it affect the maxidot?

Also, can I hook up a line in to the skoda head units *as well* as an autochanger - could be persuaded to keep the standard one if I can hook up my ipod...
