Cruise control issue / removing steering wheel controls

Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just go a 2004 skoda and the cruise control was working fine til yesterday and then nothing. The brake switch seems to be working correctly but isn't any longer.

I'm going to give the clutch switch a once over too but wanted to clean the connectors on the steering wheel but haven't a clue how to take them off. Any ideas? (steering wheel in question: http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/SimonJ65/100_7354.jpg)

Any help much appreciated!

would deffo start with switch, I had this on mine brake lights worked fine but cruise just stopped out the blue, swapped it for a new switch and cruise started working again...

If you connect it up to VCDS I think you can test the operation of the brake and clutch switches with that.

There is a switch on the clutch pedal too.
