Bumpstops on -30mm lowered cars - what to do with them?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, another suspension question from a Yeti owner i'm afraid... playing with Koni and Bilstein dampers combined with Eibach -30 to -35mm lowering springs currently and wondered what your experience was with cutting or changing/uprating the bumpstops was?

At my last damper change I just put in some brand new OE bumpstops (although originals were perfect after 40k miles tbh) but wondered if it was recommended to cut them down at all or preferably change them for an already shortened version from another VAG model??

I'll be swapping the Bilsteins in soon and want this to be my final play with the suspension so keen to get it spot on in every other minor area. I've uprated all the rubber bushes and have uprated top struts also. :)
