ECU immo defeat

Featured Replies

Hi guys I have had to get a new octavia after my engine seized. I really want to keep my ECU as it was mapped and seems more aggressive than the other mapped one I bought which is immo defeated. Is there anyone who can immo defeat my old mapoed ecu and activate the cruise control on it?

cant you take the chip out of the key from the old car?

You can't take immo transponder from the old key, as the code is stored on the clocks as well as the ecu.

Stewyp1983, you may want to consider the answers you get to this question and how you respond on a public forum to the fact that you are trying to defeat a manufacturers standard anti theft device. It could be used against you if you were to have the car taken from you at any point.

Whilst I fully understand what you are trying to do it for, it is just a heads up that google can be your friend for information or your enemy, as post's like these will come back with only a few minutes searching on google, and insurance companies know how to use google too. :notme:
