Hello all, friend of Haydn (niceyellow VRS) we go back a few years starting off with racing toy cars to competing together in real ones! Currently in the market for a new motor and an Octavia VRS seems to tick most of the boxes for me, thought I would sign up to make use of the site and see what these Czech machines are all about. Always have been a bit of a VAG group fan despite ownership of a few french motors in the past. Currently rock around in a slightly unusual Seat Cordoba SX TDI as it was a £500 punt on ebay that's worked pretty well for nearly 3 years now, but hoping to be in an Octavia within the next few weeks.

Looking for a nice stock Mk1 VRS for around £2k, parking sensors would be very handy as would cruise control but not shy of retrofitting these if I find a tidy one without. Only thing I need that I probably won't find already fitted is a tow bar!

 

Anyway, hopefully I'll be seeing some of you around, I think I may already know one or two faces through Haydn anyway.
