Loss of power following service

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My car was serviced by a mechanic, and since it was done, the car feels like the turbo isn't engaging, it struggles beyond 3000rpm! It drives perfect still.

Is there something that may have not been done or possibly knocking a pipe off by mistake?

The fault codes are P1156 and P1161, whether this has anything to do with it, I'm not sure. There is no eml on however.

I've not been to a garage yet, I just thought maybe someone would know!

MAF sensor on air intake pipe likely disconnected, or the mechanic ripped the wires inside when lifitng top of airbox to replace air filter. Look at the pipe from airbox to turbo, MAF is there.
