Hi. I have some rattle noise from the gearbox ( DSG) side when the engine loaded on high gears. Dealer said its induction noise and get rid of me, hmmm. When I bought the car my friend was replacing the springs for me, car was lovered, when he replace the front nearside one the CV joint was off of the gearbox and one of the bearing was out of shaft.There is three bearings, like three fingers on hand if you know,so he puts that bearing back and connect the driveshaft to the gearbox.I think after that day I noticed the rattle but not sure for 100%. So, I suspect that ring can make a light rattle because it should not be get out so easy I think it must be pressed on.... Thats my theory, any idea???
