Help: adding AUX/USB module to standard Swift radio

Featured Replies

Hello there,

I am the happy owner of a Skoda Yeti Greenline II (2011) and am now looking at the possibility of adding a AUX/USB module to my standard Swift radio.

The module I am referring to is something similar to the one shown here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0060N2HPW/ref=pd_luc_rh_sbs_02_01_t_img_lh?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

However, I am very confused (I am definitely not and ICE expert) and would not know:

a) whether a similar module can be added to the standard Swift radio that comes with my Yeti (I don't have the budget for an upgrade)

B) in case this can be done, which module is the correct one for the Swift connector - all I need is to be able to read MP3 files from a USB stick and to connect a device via the AUX port

c) has anyone done the same? if so I would appreciate any pointers or instructions on how to proceed

I hope I am not asking too much and not breaking any forum rules :-)

Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and advice!

Hi LEXas,

Many thanks for your feedback!

Do you have a "Swift" radio in your Octavia, by any chance?

I am planning on taking mine out to check the connector at the back before buying the module, but that would be a good start :-)

Many thanks in advance!

ps. Love your avatar ;-)
