Featured Replies

Just been to motor factors to buy a fuel filter and the guy said there are 3 options for mine using the registration. Can anyone tell me a part number from using a photo? Its a 2006 Octavia s 1.9 TDI PD Thanks folks

If they're online (GSF or ECP for example) you might find they've got pics of the parts on there - might be possible to see which one is yours.

Whenever I order them from TPS, they like to have the part number of the filter housing which helps them to get the correct one.

Look on the outside of the canister for any markings.

If it says 'UFI' then there is only one type.

If it says Mann & Huele (or something like that) then there are two to choose from so I'd get a part number off the canister and ask.

you may need a mirror as the part number on the canister may be facing into the wing.

Hello mate.

I've got the same car as you and recently changed my fuel filter. I was initially given the wrong one but finally went with one of these, which I got from a local motor factors.

Hope this helps.

judging off that picture you require a filter with the part number prefix 03C not 1K0 a or b which will be the alternatives.
