I was just wondering if anyone on the board owns a motorpoint sourced Octavia vRS.

I've seen they are for sale at

Sounds like a good price.

Things to check:

Wheels size - if UK, should be 17" with 17" alloy spare

A/C - UK cars have climate control

Also check it has a rear wiper

Make sure the steering wheel is on the right

You are right about the Motorpoint cars, they usually are Irish imports runninmg on 16" wheels (Should be 17" for Hatch), they have Aircon (as opposed to Climate Control) & are some times in non UK standard colours (should be Black, Silver, Red or Custard:D )

I'm guessing you're the same chap that can be found on Scoobynet, and goes to the 'ring quite regularly?

PLUS- you forfiet one year's warranty plus the AA Skoda Assistance if you go along the import route.

Best to stick with the approved sources- also Motorpoint are notoriously bad for aftersales care. Sorry... I speak the truth, and not just the Skoda line.
