Diesel filter ..?

Featured Replies

Hi ,

I drive a superb 1.9 TDI , 2003 model, manual gearbox, anyone pls tell me where the diesel filter is located? Is that underneath the car or underneath the air filter?

I have an other question, any suggestions for improving fuel average?

i am getting an average of 45mpg, i drive everyday 60miles, all motorways, no traffic, max speed 70mph, no rash driving, (manual gearbox), good tyres,( checking tyre pressures every week), regularly serviced (new eng oil & filter, air filter) , no brakes binding, clutch suspension, tracking/alignment all good, no check engine/ warning lights on dash board, rpm normal, normal smoke, recently added REDEX injecter cleaner (500 miles before, still no change) , diesel filter yet to change..   Please help..

Thanks

Neither. It is underneath the engine cover, a little further back than the oil filter.
