Mk II Elegance - removing only the front grill?

Featured Replies

As above, because I want to mount an airhorn behind it - but don't want to dismantle more than I have to, and so can it be done, and, if so, then how?

Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the lower grille in the bumper, it's dead easy to remove. Simply grab hold of it and pull hard. Simple as that. Took me less than a minute to replace my lower centre grille.

I can't see you meaning the grille on the bonnet, but it you need to remove that, simply place a 6 or 7 mm socket on the retaining pegs which go through the bonnet, and press hard. The socket allows all the retaining tangs to compress without any breakage.

Many thanks - it's the lower grill, so that should be easy without damage (if I am careful!).!
