My MK 1 Octy vRS is getting on a bit - 12 years old and just over 100k and it's due a new timing belt, plus some new rear disks and pads. It also has a worsening misfire when cold that disappears after a short warm-up.

 

It's going to cost a few quid to get it serviced and I'd like to cure the misfire which is getting annoying. My local garage is very handy but not brilliant at finding tricky faults that don't show up on diagnostics.

 

Can anybody recommend a garage in the Guildford area with specialist knowledge of 1.8ts?
